Aug 09, 2014: FishWhistle

Another spectacular weekend aboard the Christina Rose, hosting family for a great cruise up the Chester River to visit Chestertown, MD. Weather was perfect, water was perfect, dinner at the Fish Whistle was pretty good too.

Our story is told easier in pictures and video, below…

VIDEO of the Captain showing off Christina’s docking skills in Chestertown, with several onlookers along the public docks and at the Fish Whistle restaurant…

VIDEO below details some (drunken?) morons leaving Conquest Beach, cutting across our port-bow so closely we barely had time to react. These fools had left Conquest, passed by us shooting a rooster 100′ into the air, dropped off-plane to fix whatever their issue was (the guy made his female passenger in black jump off the swim-platform to fix it), then they proceeded to cut us off about 5-minutes later…

All-in-all, another really nice weekend to be out on the water, where we put 43.3nm on the Rose with a maximum speed of 29kt, maintaining roughly 7kt @ 1.2nm/gal on the way out and around 25kt @ 0.8nm/gal on the way back to home-port.

Happy Wakes! Feel free to drop me a note anytime, ChristinaRose@edickent.com
